Set in the UAE, The Forum draws from the region’s longstanding traditions of gathering where dialogue unfolds in an intimate and inclusive setting and their strong connection to the region's native environment, where people come together to sit, converse, and connect.

These references are reimagined for a global audience, merging the local spirit of hospitality with the dynamic energy of Downtown Design. The Forum is designed as an internal courtyard, a moment of pause, a moment to reconnect within the fair's fast paced rhythm.

The Forum's continuous curved seating arrangement dissolves hierarchies. Speakers, moderators, and audiences share the same ground, turning the seating itself into the stage, each gathering becomes a collective conversation rather than a one-way address. The architectural environment is defined by organic, topographical forms and hand-applied tactile materials informed by natural terrains, creating a sensory sanctuary for dialogue amidst the high energy of the fair.

At its core, and extending outward, a landscaped terrain offers informal seating that remains active beyond scheduled talks. It invites moments of pause, reflection, and spontaneous encounter, ensuring the Forum is alive with dialogue at all times. The Forum is conceived as a living landscape for ideas, fostering exchange across disciplines, cultures, and perspectives.
