Roula Salamoun Studio
Roula Salamoun is a Lebanese architect and founder of a multidisciplinary studio where she marries her architectural sensibilities with an intuitive hands-on approach to design. Her practice rigorously experiments with materiality and form to mold objects and spaces that elicit dialogs through the senses.
Earning her Bachelor of Architecture with distinction with a minor in Studio Arts from the American University of Beirut, Roula continued to pursue her graduate research at Columbia University in New York, where she was awarded the William Kinne fellowship.
Since establishing her studio in 2017, Roula has been nominated for numerous awards such as “Emerging Designer of the year 2022” by AD Middle East as her studio continues to explore output across the fields of art, installations, design, interiors and architecture.
Architecture & Interior commissions
Our services span all project phases from concept design to construction supervision, and can be tailored to include assistance in tendering and project management.
Product design
Interlacing sculptural
& functional qualities, our products are the result of a rigorous process of
research, material experimentation, and formal studies. In addition to
releasing furniture collections, we create bespoke designs to suit the specific
needs of our clients.
Brand collaborations
Collaborations with experts from diverse backgrounds feed into our studio’s ongoing explorations, giving birth to novel material and formal dialogs.
